Are you a Mac user? Do you have a soft spot for charities? Well, even if you do not have a soft spot, here is something that you might be interested in. You know that you are blessed enough that you are using a Mac (and not a crappy thing running on Windows). Why don’t you take this chance to help other less fortunate souls?
The ongoing promo is called the MacHeist 3 Bundle, and it is being offered by (obviously) MacHeist. For the price of only $39, you can buy twelve applications for your Mac. Outside of the offer, these twelve applications will cost you hundreds and hundreds! And mind you, the applications that you get for $39 are all full, unlocked, and commercial versions. That means that you are not getting just any trivial or useless apps!
So where does charity come in? When you purchase the MacHeist 3 Bundle, you also get to pick a charity that will receive 25% of your $39. Some of the charities that you can choose from are Action Against Hunger, Humane Society International, Save the Children, and Save Darfur. There are six other groups in that list.
But it doesn’t end there. MacHeist says that if the contributions reach $500,000, they will be unlocking more applications that can be accessed by those who have purchased the original bundle. And let me tell you, so far, the figures are beyond $400,00!
Pity I don’t have a Mac. I would have gone for this offer, if only for the charity.
